What happensWhy not yetWhy these goQuestions

What actually happens.

Individual Lifetime is a paid purchase. Choosing Family at that purchase holds a place; the Family upgrade is a separate £250 payment.

Buy the current Individual Lifetime band in the app. It works immediately for you.

02
AT PURCHASE

03
COMING JANUARY 2027

COMING JANUARY 2027
Add your family

After upgrading, add two adults and up to four children. Each child needs their own compatible iPhone.

Individual Lifetime and Family choice

Individual works from launch.

At public launch, Individual Lifetime works for you immediately. Choose Family before buying to hold a place for when Family arrives in January 2027. The £250 upgrade is purchased in the app after we verify your account’s paid Family hold.

If you decide against upgrading, you keep Individual Lifetime. Refunding Individual Lifetime releases its Family hold. A Family purchase you have already made still counts unless that purchase is also refunded.

How the places work.

Individual works first
Individual Lifetime and Family Lifetime are separate purchases. An eligible £250 Family upgrade follows when Family arrives in January 2027.
Keep your choice
Choosing Family with your paid purchase holds a place. You can decide against the upgrade and keep Individual Lifetime.
One shared limit
Founding Family has 2,500 places shared by paid holds and Family purchases. Converting a hold counts once. Refunded purchases release their places.
2,500 of 2,500 Family places remaining

Paid holds and Family purchases share this limit. Refunded purchases do not count. Counts are rounded down; final availability is checked in the app.

The questions people ask.

Does this page reserve a place?
No. This page takes no payment and creates no reservation. At public launch, buy Individual Lifetime in the app and select Family before payment to hold a place.
What happens to my held place?
A qualifying paid Individual purchase with the Family choice holds one place. The hold does not expire. Refunding that purchase releases its hold; upgrading converts it into a Family purchase without counting twice.
What does "lifetime" actually mean?
For as long as NOT YET exists as an app. It includes every rule, every rule we add later, and Show Up when it opens. It does not include physical Tags, which are a separate product.
What happens when my child turns 18?
Their seat ends and they can open their own adult account at the standard price. The two adult seats are unaffected and stay yours for life. A child’s seat cannot be passed to a younger sibling — you bought it for the family you had.
I already pay for Individual. Can I move?
Recurring subscription changes are handled by Apple. The Lifetime route is separate: choose Family when buying Individual Lifetime to receive the eligible £250 upgrade offer when Family arrives in January 2027. A one-off Lifetime purchase is not automatically credited by Apple.
Can I see what my child does on their phone?
You see the Family restrictions you manage, task confirmations and requests your child sends. You do not see their messages, browsing, which apps they opened, location, or their own rules and private results. Our children’s privacy notice explains it in their words too.
