Seven days free on eligible monthly and annual plans. Monthly, annual, Family monthly and Family annual all start with a free week. Lifetime is one payment, no trial — change your mind and request a refund through Apple. The intro month is the one exception, because the cheap month is the offer — so it is charged straight away. You can take the free week or the intro price, not both.

Family is coming January 2027, as its own release after the individual launch. Buying Individual Lifetime with Family selected holds one of the 2,500 Founding Family places. Once Family is available, eligible holders can buy the £250 in-app Family upgrade after their account’s paid hold is verified. If you decide against upgrading, you keep Individual Lifetime. Refunding the Individual purchase releases its Family hold. The current Individual band price is shown before you pay.

Qualifying resident-paid subscriptions can support a named building fund under the partner agreement. Standard contributions are 25% of defined net proceeds, reviewed quarterly and subject to eligibility and payment checks. Funded seats do not generate a share.

I am not in the UK — what will I actually pay?
The App Store shows the actual local price and terms for Individual, Family and Lifetime before you buy. Physical Tags use our separate shop: prices, supported delivery destinations, shipping and any applicable charges are confirmed at checkout.
Do you show me adverts?
Not in the sense most apps mean it. There are no ad networks, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics, and we never sell personal data to advertisers. But venues on Show Up can pay for a more prominent position in their city’s list, and where they have, it is labelled. A paid placement can never push a nearer venue below a further one — distance always wins.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, then the app stops enforcing rules. Nothing is deleted immediately, and you can come back on the same account. Cancelling is done in your Apple account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Is Lifetime really limited?
Individual Lifetime has 10,000 places across ten price bands. Refunded purchases release their places, which resell at the currently open band price. Separate Founding Family Lifetime has 2,500 places, shared with eligible paid holds. Final availability is checked in the app.
Can I move from Individual to Family?
Apple handles recurring subscription changes. Family is coming January 2027. For Individual Lifetime, choose Family before buying to hold a place. Once Family is available, eligible holders can buy the £250 in-app Family upgrade after their account’s paid hold is verified. Apple does not automatically credit a one-off Lifetime purchase.
Do I have to buy a Tag?
Only for the Tap rule, and for ending the Wake Alarm with a tap. Every other rule needs no hardware at all.
